About .300 Blackout
.300 Blackout ammunition is available in supersonic and subsonic forms. The existing product notes report subsonic cycling with a backpressure-type suppressor in a particular setup; this should not be treated as a guarantee of function with every ammunition and hardware combination.
What Do the Gas Block and Barrel Extension Do?
Gas block: The gas block is part of the SCAR’s piston operating system. It routes gas from the barrel into the operating system, with the gas regulator controlling that flow.
Barrel extension: This is the steel component at the rear of the barrel where the bolt locks into place. It’s an important part of the finished barrel assembly.

Parts not included: Deadshot FN SCAR barrels and barrel assemblies do not include a gas piston or gas-regulator knobs. Customers must use compatible FN or aftermarket components. Confirm compatibility with your specific SCAR model before ordering.
When a Deadshot Barrels FN SCAR barrel assembly is supplied with a fitted gas block or barrel extension, those supplied components are part of the completed assembly. Do not attempt to remove, replace, or modify either fitted component yourself. Improper removal or alteration can damage components and compromise safe operation. If a component appears missing, damaged, or incorrect on arrival, do not install or use the assembly; contact Deadshot Barrels with photographs before making changes. Damage or malfunction caused by gas-block removal, reinstallation, substitution, or modification is not covered as a manufacturing defect.
